• Railway Station Near Chennai Airport
  Chennai Central Railway Station (station code: MAS), The nearest rail junction is Thrisulam station and it is at 2 km distance away from Chennai International Airport. It is going to take 5 to 6 minutes only in covering the distance as the international airport of Chennai is just opposite of the railway station.

• By Chennai Metro to Chennai Airport

  The Chennai metro is also now connected to the airport and the airport metro station is just outside the exit, after crossing the taxi parking. Currently this (blue) line is operational only till Little Mount, halfway to the city center.

  Using the pre-paid taxi to get to the city, each terminal has several booths for several taxi companies when you exit the airport, outside before you meet the crowd. The fares are different for the domestic and international terminals though the terminals are next to each other.
