Air India Express Refund Rules

No change or modification of the booking or refund of taxes will be possible from 12 hours prior to departure of flight till approximately 6 hours after departure of the flight. Outside of Twelve(12) hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time, you are allowed to change the date of the flight subject to certain Fare Basis rules applicable to the reservation booking designator.

If you do not wish to travel, you must notify atleast 24 hours(Twenty-Four) prior to scheduled departure of the flight. Refund will be made to you subject to applicable cancellation charges. No refunds will be made for cancellations inside 24 hours(Twenty-Four) prior to departure. Though you may collect refund of taxes after the departure of the flight. Please note that cancellation policy is subject to change without notice.

1. 100% of {(Basic Air Fare + YQ (Fuel Surcharge)} + Transaction/Convenience Fee per passenger per sector. - If the cancellation is made less than 24 hrs prior to scheduled departure of flight / If passenger is a No Show

2. Fixed Penalty of INR 3500/- or its equivalent in local currency + Transaction/Convenience Fee per passenger per sector. - If the cancellation is made between 24 Hrs to 72 Hrs prior to the scheduled departure of flight.

3. Fixed Penalty of INR 2500/- or its equivalent in local currency + Transaction/Convenience Fee per passenger per sector. - If the cancellation is made between 72 Hrs to 7 Days prior to the scheduled departure of flight.

4. Fixed penalty of INR 2000/- or its equivalent in local currency + Transaction/Convenience Fee per passenger per sector. - If the cancellation is made 7 Days or more prior to the scheduled departure of flight.

5. Wherever the penalty is in excess of the sum of {Basic + YQ/Fuel Surcharge}, 100% of Basic & Fuel Surcharge + Transaction/Convenience Fee per passenger per sector will be deducted.

6. The Refund Will Be Made In The Same Mode Of Payment Used While Booking.
