After that, there has been no attempt to relocate it. There is currently no scheduled commercial air service in this Airport. This airport again restarted under UDAN Scheme of Indian Government. AAI Chief Says that "When an airline operator wants to Start Operation in this Airport. AAI makes the airport ready." The flight maybe between via Agartala(IXA) to Kolkata (CCU).
